In the Name of Musical Sensuality For over two centuries, the musical scene has been dominated by the Castrati. These men, whose voices have bewitched the courts of all Europe during the Baroque period, at the high price of the sacrifice of their masculinity. After exploring their world and the reasons for such a long-lasting success, we'll focus on the contemporary heirs of the Castrati: those artists, such as Boy George, Jimmy Somerville, Ernesto Tomasini, but also Radu Marian, Michael Chance or Cecilia Bartoli have chosen to perpuate the style of the castrati.
